About the Role and Responsibilities
Position Title* Dev Ops Engineer
Location: Bangalore, KT
About the Role:
The Site Reliability Engineer has to monitor the production system and escalate the issues with proper analysis to concern team ensuring the minimal downtime. Also, provide detail summary of all high priority issues to stakeholders ensuring the quality. Need to Track/Escalate all critical production issues through ETA. Provide Input/Support for analyzing the root cause of verified Production issues in order to help provide long term solutions to fix them. Triage, catalogue and quantify issues.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for proactive monitoring of production environment and respond quickly in response to trends or issues.
· Troubleshoot problems in real-time, interacting with customers and internal support representatives to deliver maximum customer satisfaction.
· Responsible for publishing detailed weekly report
· Ability to work independently on defined tasks and escalate in a timely manner when support/assistance is required.
· Triage, catalogue and quantify issues.
· Work closely with Customer Support, Partners, Engineering and Production Operations teams to better understand the Partner and Subscriber experience and facilitate solutions to common problems.
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
· Must have experience in troubleshooting problems in real-time, interacting with customers and internal support representatives to deliver maximum customer satisfaction.
· 1 to 2 years of experience in web and ecommerce domain.
· Good knowledge of ASP.Net, C#, SQL, WCF, Web Services, JavaScript, AJAX and JSON
· Strong troubleshooting/problem solving and communication skills.
· BE/B. Tech. in Computer Science
· Preferred: Good knowledge in internet standards and protocols, setting up environments.
Must have Skills
· Proficient in .Net: C#, ASP.Net, XML, XSL, T-SQL, SQL Server 2005/2008, VSTS.
· Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Nice to have skills:
· Knowledge of ASP and related COM+ technologies.
· Experience in web and ecommerce development.
· In-depth working knowledge of debugging in ASP, ASP .Net, C# environment.
